Dr. Cramer is an experienced podiatrist specializing in foot and ankle surgery, wound care, and hyperbaric medicine. Since December of 2021, he has been working at Wilbarger General Hospital in Vernon, Texas.
The mission of Wilbarger General Hospital is to provide quality healthcare and to inspire wellness in the community by combining the science of healing with the art of caring.
Back in 1976, Dr. Cramer graduated with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. He then went on to perform his surgical residency at the Texas Department of Corrections in Huntsville.
With over 50 years of experience, he is a distinguished Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). The ABFAS strives to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by advancing the art and science of foot and ankle surgery.
Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Cramer has served as a consultant podiatric surgeon at the Ministry of Health (where he developed a critical limb service within the Department of Endocrinology at King Fahad Medical City) from December 2007 – January 2009; a podiatrist at Barrett Foot and Ankle from January 2010 – December 2013; and as a podiatrist in private practice from January 2014 – June 2022. He has also served as team podiatrist to several high school, college, and professional sports teams.
Continuously advancing his efforts, he is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons, the American Professional Wound Care Association, and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.
